Down to Earth – A Future Low-Carbon Construction Project

Down to Earth is a planned sustainable construction materials project to be developed on a dedicated site in Northern Uganda, designed to generate income while supporting affordable, climate-smart housing.

We plan to manufacture stabilised interlocking clay bricks and stabilised adobe clay bricks, using locally sourced materials and low-energy production methods as an alternative to cement-heavy construction.

As the project grows, we plan to expand into other clay-based building products, strengthening product diversity and long-term revenue potential.

Our bricks are designed to:

• Use up to 80% less cement

• Require little or no mortar

• Speed up construction

• Create cooler, healthier buildings
